Advanced Inflatable Products (AIP), has been a leading manufacturer of inflatable and fabric engineered products for many years. Primarily a defence contractor, the company has established itself as a world leader in the innovative design and manufacture of inflatable devices such as Parachute Training Balloons, Aerostat Systems for surveillance and communications and replica armoured vehicles for use as decoys, targets and recognition training. In recent years, AIP has expanded its activities to encompass the design and manufacture of training evacuation slide and raft systems for the world's airlines.
In addition, AIP can supply portable water storage tanks for use in disaster relief operations, gas storage tanks and advertising balloons.
AIP operates to the highest Defence and Aerospace Quality Standards and all products are manufactured in strict accordance with applicable Military Specifications.

- Irvin-GQ Limited, a company established for over 75 years and a world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of a comprehensive range of parachutes and emergency, rescue and survival equipment to the military, coastguard and civilian aerospace markets.
- Aircraft Materials Limited, a company established for over 50 years and a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of a wide range of systems and fittings for the aerial delivery of cargo, aerial material handling, personnel and cargo restraint and safety harnesses.
Irvin-GQ, Aircraft Materials Limited and Advanced Inflatable Products in the UK, with Para-Flite Inc. and Irvin Aerospace Inc. in the USA and Irvin Aerospace Canada Limited in Canada form Airborne Systems, a company wholly owned by Alchemy Partners.
