Military and police forces, need rapid and secure systems for the insertion and extraction of personnel by helicopter. In addition, the requirement to safeguard, rescue or evacuate personnel from tall or inaccesible structures requires safe and reliable equipment.
AML can supply:
- Abseil equipment and components for the safe and secure lowering of personnel from helicopters and fixed structures, including harnesses, ropes, rope bags and descenders
- A range of helicopter deplaning and fast roping equipment for the rapid insertion and extraction of fully equipped troops by airborne helicopters, including the Fast Roping Insertion and Extraction System (FRIES)
- A range of self contained kits to facilitate the rescue, and evacuation of injured and uninjured personnel from high structures such as buildings, towers, oil rigs, electricity pylons, aerial masts and passenger aircraft. The integrated kits which are supplied pre-packed in portable packs/bags, contain all of the components required to effect a safe and secure descent by untrained personnel.
