To meet the varied and demanding requirements of modern airborne operations, Irvin-GQ can supply
a comprehensive range of parachutes and equipment for Paratroops and Special Forces, including:
- Non-steerable troop assemblies for massed, tactical parachute assault
- Steerable troop assemblies for jumping onto small or restricted dropping zones
- A low level troop parachute for use at drop heights as low as 250 feet (76 metres)
- High performance parachutes for Special Operations and HAHO/HALO missions
- Reserve parachute assemblies
- Reserve parachute Deployment Assistance Device (DAD)
- Parachutist's equipment
Irvin-GQ has been supplying parachutes to Airborne Forces world-wide since the 1940's.
The capabilities of Airborne Forces parachutes are continually being improved through
on-going development programmes.
Irvin-GQ maintains close contact with user services in developing equipment to meet
evolving and new operational requirements. Current activities include assistance
in the development of the Advanced Tactical Parachute System (ATPS), the planned
replacement for the US Army's T-10 Assembly.
